The Blood Moon Theory has been officially popularized. “Oy Vey!” as we some times say in Yiddish.
I’ve been hearing this non-sense (the theory itself) for a while now and thought that you should watch this video for some basic information since it is amazing how people can uncritically accept almost anything providing it has nice pictures and Christian TV with powerful (usually unchallenged) personalities behind them.
Disclaimer: I do not know the author of this video (that also criticizes that theory) personally, nor can I vouch for other things he may say someplace else, but I think you should watch this video, because to me things are rather clear – the theory is a complete nonsense.
“So-called” Christians, who spread these types of videos / books, in my opinion, act as a distraction to the true Word of Jesus Christ (although they may have intermingled bits and pieces of His Word so that people are confused regarding their authenticity). They seem to be spreading ideas that are counter to what we should be pursuing – which Jesus warned against – Matthew 7: 22-23 – “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23″And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’
These verses below, however, remind us that the Day of the Lord will be a terrifying experience for those who do not believe. Given this knowledge, we must keep in “holy conversation and godliness” since none of us knows the “day or hour” of this event.
2 Peter 3:10 -13 – “10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.”
Matthew 24: 32-33: – 32 “But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 33″Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.”
All of this being said, I personally believe we are in the latter time. I sense, as do many others, that we are at the threshold of the 1290-day period spoken of by the prophet Daniel. One of the reasons I say this is that the Two Witnesses (which are represented by the members of this very Forum and others like it!) – the body of Jewish and Christians believers – are spreading the Word, in concert as one, AS NEVER BEFORE IN HISTORY! This period of intense “evangelism” by the Two Witness / The Two Lampstands, if you will, we are told is to last 1260 days (3.5 years).
The other key reason is that many learned scientists are warning us that our Earth is headed toward a series of cataclysmic celestial / cosmic events in the not too distant future. Where we are in this 3.5 year period is anyone’s guess, but I personally believe the Holy Spirit is moving to tell us that we have now (or are very soon to embark) embarked on this timeline.
Approx 6:34 into the video, he mentions there are two tetrads that fell on G_DS Feast Days and nothing occurred. He points this out but doesn’t give the date for them.
Any idea what those Feast Days were when the tetrads occurred and nothing occurred ?
As mentioned, intellectual honesty warrants further investigation of such a claim that he is stating.

But I still learning the word of YAHWEH even sometime I don,t understand because many books many CD many and many things more. which one is the TRUTH? many books now round on this world about coming soon of our YAHSUAH HA MASSIAH. because of the news coming on the TV many of my friends are living in FEAR! it ,s good to know and good to share but I think better we focus to feed the poor how to help the people who are in needy. What the Scriptures warn us about, we should consider. Don’t we believe that, ” …that one day is with the L_RD as a thousand years, a thousand years, and a ten years as one day…” 2Ptr3:8… ? What is two or three or four years lapse or delay of an eclipse took place when a significant event for the Jews/Israel happened ? Don’t we believe that The Great ALMIGHTY heeds and regards the prayers of HIS people, the righteous ones? Isn’t it a wonderful probability good/evil incident(s) occured too early or too late because HE fulfilled HIS attribute as The G_D WHO is merciful, just and forgiving because some righteous ones prayed?

No, I suppose we didn´t know. When we start reading really, studying the Word, and at the same time watching news from all around our Planet, we start having thoughts, insights. Why we cannot do as it seemed so natural for Jesus, to be ease, sweet, peaceful, eventhough sometimes He was enraged by the wrongdoing in the Temple against those who should know better that the Lord´s House is not a place for market….I´m ashamed just because I am not a learned person, just an old Lady very attached to understand spiritual ways, and ansious to see all the others doing the same . Please, don´t misunderstand me, I just want to talk about these thngs.
I´m almost ashamed for daring to write this, but I must tell you that we might consider that the time when Jesus is back on EArth will be the time when the human beings have already learned all that He had taught before men killed Him, that is to love each other, to respect each other, to have mercy on the poor and needy and suffering, to forgive. That´s the Love of Jesus. That´s when He will be on Earth again, and the EArth will become God´s Kindgdom, where people will live with love, peace, joy, nurtured by the endless beauty of NAture… Is´t it simple?.To live as all the other Nature´s creation…

Your figurations on the given issue/question, I agree. Our basic knowledge of HIS attributes should enable us to rule out or count in credibility of prophecies, and is enough element to weigh and/or support whether prophecies and prophets alike be taken as authentic or not. Yes, let us not forget, Jesus said, ”Let us judge righteous judgment” *(according to His word).

Having watched the Y tube presentation all I can say is there is another twelve minutes of my life I won’t get back . Where do these people get all this stuff? The fact John Hagee is associated with anything should have been the first red flag. As you well know there are some dear folks who spend so much time looking for miracles, signs and wonders, that they miss what is going on in their backyard. It is always as scripture shows us hidden in plain sight.

Thank you, Dr. Eli. There is no substitute for vigilance & a proper attitude when it comes to interpreting biblical prophecy but the I believe that all believers must evaluate all interpretations by a spirit-filled inquiry from Genesis to Revelation. After all Hashem reveals the end from the beginning. To base interpretation upon a few verses & then ignore passages that debunk a “theory” is theologically irresponsible because it not only misinforms but possibly lead people astray especially those who are not strong in the faith. We must know the signs & the seasons but we must also take heed that we are ready & are standing in the faith or else we might find ourselves disqualified. I would rather be found busy with the affairs of Hashem (especially discipling) rather than busying myself with the non-urgent activities. To be busy with the Word doesn’t necessariky mean busy with just examening it but rather with applying it & making it a lifestyle.
Our study is a journey to Truth & am glad we’re all in it together.
