Dear Christian friend, shalom from Israel!

Jewish Studies for Christians is a study group, designed as an educational resource for Christian believers worldwide. Therefore, the purpose of this web-based study group is to explore, together with Christians the Jewish context of Christian faith; and in this way to contribute to ongoing Jewish-Christian dialogue and relations.

My name is Julia Blum, I took over administration of the Jewish Studies Blog from my friend and former colleague Dr. Eli  (Dr. Eliyahu Lizorkin-Eyzenberg).  I would like to extend a very special welcome to hundreds of priests, pastors, educators and various ministry leaders, who are taking part in these discussions. I am happy to tell you that this blog was enthusiastically endorsed by a number of prominent Jewish and Christian leaders.

If you allow me, I’ll walk with you from week to week, studying ancient Christian and Jewish literature. Together we (you, me and close to four thousand of this site users) will seek to  understand better the Scriptures. I invite you to join me on this journey today!
